Air Aid Ball

Supporting the Surrey Air Ambulance

Air Aid Ball - 25th June 2011

In 2011 the third Air Aid Ball will take place at Redhill Aerodrome. The 'Ball' in aid of the Surrey Air Ambulance is gaining quite the reputation for being an outstanding event and a must have ticket ! So far this Biennial event has raised over £100,000 for the charity; truly amazing.

Behind the scenes a lot of planning goes into making our ball memorable. In 2007 our guests arrived, some of whom by helicopter, to a grain barn that had been magically transformed into a swish venue, with a helicopter suspended from the ceiling.

Meet the Air Aid Ball Comittee

In 2009 the 'Air Aid' theme continued with a flight back in time to the 1940's in a marquee at Redhill Aerodrome. Whilst the champagne flowed the haunting sound of an Air Raid siren was heard with the message 'Scramble Scramble Scramble' blasting out over the PA system. One of our guests ran to her Hurricane; as a spitfire came racing through the skies. What will happen in 2011 ? Reserve your table now to find out !

Events such as this would not be possible without the dedication of a strong team of people. The 'Air Aid Ball committee' lead by Chris and Caroline Martin is made up of people from the local area; companies as well as individuals who value the work of the Air Ambulance. They love being part of a fantastic team who enjoy organising a really good party !

Sponsorship is crucial to our success and we could not do what we do with out our sponsors or indeed our guests. We look forward to seeing you in 2011....
